This vehicle, which is used to shunt train wagons, is produced by the company Molcy from Hooglede. On top of the vehicle is an engine block and sometimes also a compressor.
Idea2shape designed the hood to be placed over these components.
Design requirements:
- the front part of the hood had to be produced in the same mold in 2 different lengths.
- the hood must be able to open on both sides
- there must be an air circulation channel incorporated in the hood
- the volume must not be in the driver's field of vision when coupling the railway vehicle.
