for Nedschroef we designed this fibre-reinforced polyester part that covers a large pinion of 1,5m diameter.
Our part replaces a part that used to be made from welded steel sheet.
Because of this part there are multiple improvements :
- the cover can be produced faster and with better tolerances
- the cover can now we mounted / unmounted by 1 worker instead of 2
- the aesthetic now follows the rest of the machine.
